Bomb: Högsta domstolen har nu Obamas medborgarskap

Gruppen Americans for Freedom of Information har offentliggjort kopior av President Obamas college protokoll från Occidental College, vilket kommer att stimulera debatten om Obamas kvalifikationer att bli president.

Utskriften visar att Obama, under namnet Barry Soetoro, fått ekonomiskt stöd som en utländsk student från Indonesien i ett grundutbildningsprogram på skolan. Kopian släpptes av Occidental College i enlighet med ett domstolsbeslut i en process som väckts av gruppen i Högsta domstolen i Kalifornien. Kopian visar att Obama (Soetoro) ansökt om ekonomiskt stöd och tilldelades ett stipendium för utländska studenter från Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. För att kvalificera för stipendium, måste studenten göra anspråk på utländskt medborgarskap. However, in this particular case I don't trust Snopes. I snopesed the birth
certificate issue last fall during the campaign, and Snopes claimed that the
state of Hawaii had definitively settled it by officially stating that there
was a Hawaii birth certificate, which is not true. The state only maintained
that there was a certificate of live birth, which can mean that the birth
occurred elsewhere and was registered in Hawaii. The matter is NOT settled.

Snopes has a bias, and on this issue they're not reliable.

However, there have been any number of bogus (or over-optimistic) stories about
the progress of one or another of the various suits, and I think this is
probably one of them. I doubt any of the suits is going anywhere. I think they
are all doomed -- the establishment has closed ranks on this issue.
